The Homeless Services Center

The Johnson County Homeless Services Center (HSC) proposal has been spearheaded by the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners and community stakeholders like USC and its incoming partner on the process, ReStart, who will ultimately manage the facility. The county and various cities within the county are being asked to contribute continuing funds to the shelter that will keep it operating and able to take in individuals in need. The Homeless Services Center has been under relentless assault by opponents opposed to it on ideological grounds and deliberate disinformation and scare tactics. If you support continuing the work towards Johnson County's first homeless shelter, please email the Lenexa Council and Planning Commission using the link provided.
